Ansel Adams

I have decided to do my ppt on Ansel Adams.  After looking under the masters of photography website, I found his work to be exceptional.  After viewing some of his work, I decided that I really liked it.  The majority of the images that I viewed initially were of nature, which I enjoy. 

This is one of pictures I found of Ansel Adams.  As you can see, the camera being used looks ancient. 

This picture I really like, it looks like the tree has been blown in the wind for its entire life.  Also love the mountains in the background.

I thought this was an amazing photo considering the time it was taken.  This is an LA freeway.  Looks confusing! 

Picasa #2

I forgot to do the second Picasa assignment so here it is.  Here is the original picture of our toliet paper roll in our bathroom.  As you can see, in the very right hand corner you can see the toilet (Extraneous). 

So in order to help this picture out, I cropped it and adjusted the brightness.  This gives it a more appealing look and excludes any extraneous objects like the toilet.  Enjoy!

Photo of Significant Other

This is a picture of my wife in the kitchen.  Here is the original picture. When I started looking at the first photo, I realized that it was way too bright.  This picture was taken on a dark rainy day and I feel that this image does not portray the correct lighting and color.

After doing some minor changes in GIMP, I made some color alterations and did some cropping to focus more in and capture the image that I was trying to portray.  This color is a little bit darker, giving it a sense of a more dark rainy day.  

My Name

Hey this is my first assignment to spell out my name using GIMP software.  Who knew that you could make something so cool with things just laying around the house.  

Banner

This is a banner that I created by using a lot of ideas from the lecture on youtube.  I hope this is what you wanted  Professor.  It is a picture of me barefooting. This is a hobby of my family and I.  Hope you enjoy!
